  • Bosnia and HerzegovinaThe Tiger’s Wife, Téa Obreht (This was hard because Obreht was born in Belgrade, then capital of Yugoslavia, now capital of Serbia but I’ve chosen Bosnia as the majority of her family were Bosniak.)

  • United Kingdom: The Lord of the Rings, JRR Tolkien (hard to choose just one but this is top of The List so I reckon it fits!)

North America:

  • USA: To Kill A Mockingbird, Harper Lee
